I do a lot of work off in the middle of nowhere for work. Sometimes I arrive at the worksite late at night and it is extremely important that you can see what you need. I wired these in on my 2005 Honda SUV such that the relay goes through the headlights control. This is so the aftermarket flood lights can not be left on when the headlights are not on.
The length of cable is plenty long enough so it is flexible where you run it to. The cable and switch are of a quality production and are perfect for my purposes.
