AYL Flashlight

The flashlight is pretty good quality. It has a solid metal construction and seems rather rigid. The battery cover comes off too easily for this flashlight and I have a hard time getting it to stay on properly. I like how it comes with a rechargeable battery that you can remove and plug in. The best part about this is that it has an adapter that can be used to use 3xAAA batteries. I think that is the coolest thing as I could see using that in a dire situation like camping or traveling far from civilization.

The functions are a good selection. Honestly, I see no use for the "SOS" function because anyone who sees that light could easily hear or see you and you can see them. I think the zoomable function is neat but since it is already a bit narrow, the most use I will get out of that is if I am trying to target something in the far distance.

I am not sure if it is truly 900 lumens because it doesn't seem as bright as a 700 lumens light I got a couple months ago. Regardless, it is brighter than your average flashlight.

Measuring Spoon

These measuring spoons definitely are made of stainless steel. They have some weight to them which makes them feel high quality. The sizes seem accurate, as best I can tell. They are a rectangular shape and they all stack one inside another very well. I like these measuring spoons and foresee many years of use.

I am a traveling man, usually on the roads for long periods of time in desolate areas. I use a knife to do repairs as needed and to get work done. This ‪#‎OPTREK‬ knife has a somewhat good construction and the blade is pretty sharp. I like it locks open so you don't have to worry about the blade moving when you are cutting something. The case is convenient and you can put your belt through it so you can carry it with you without having to use a pocket.

My only complaint is that one of the hinge screws fell out in the first week, but luckily I had the tools to fix it. The clip on the knife seems like a bit of a waste, but I guess it makes it more adaptable. Overall, I rather enjoy this knife.

Alpha Car Shade

I received an ‪#‎AlphaShades‬ front windshield shade. It doesn't fit my 2005 Honda Pilot so I am unable to actually use it. It is too small. It deserves something just a little more than one star because it has a solid construction and is relatively high quality. It is in a pain in the butt to try to bend small enough so it folds away in the little pouch that is included with it. I will probably end up giving it to my roommate who drives a smaller car.

Gonex Tactical&Military Backpack Oxford 45L

I receive a lot of backpacks year after year for various reasons. I was given a ‪#‎GoneTacticaBackpack‬ to compare. I just want to start by saying this is a military style backpack so it has straps to add a sleeping bag on the bottom, so it would probably make a decent hiking bag or overnight bag because you could use it for a towel.

It has a ton of storage space in the main pouch. It has two smaller pouches that can't hold as much. It was able to hold my larger laptop of 16" so I am very satisfied. Overall, I love this backpack and foresee getting many years out of it as an overnight bag.

Lauryn Janae Premium 19.5oz Great Britain Dimple Clear Glass Beer Mug Stein or Tea/Coffee Cups

I am a social drinker and have parties every other weekends with college friends. This glass has a very sharp and bold look to it, especially with the dimples. The handle is big enough for my hands, and while glass, it isn't overly heavy. It is dishwasher safe so it is very easy to clean. My only minor complaint is the seam from when the two molded halves came together, but it is part of most glasses nowadays. I definitely recommend buying one because of the look and feel, I know I plan on buying a few more to make it a set.

Dessert Sampler/Shooter shot glasses

This glass is really durable and is dishwasher safe. The walls are of an appropriate thickness. I wouldn't call it a shot glass since it is rather big, but I have been using it more as a vessel for sauce when I make dinner. It is small and deep, which makes it difficult to clean by hand. All in all, I am glad I got these glasses.

2 Pack Comfortable 3D Sleep Eye Mask Sleeping Mask

I work a very irregular work schedule that requires me to sleep during the day from time to time. I have used sleep masks before, but they can be uncomfortable sometimes. I was so excited when I got these sleeping masks because they are 3D. They are so soft and they distribute the pressure around the eyes not onto the eyes. The velcro is convenient because you tighten it, but unfortunately, I wish it could be tightened more.

They fall off because I tend to roll around a lot when I am sleeping, but all the masks I have previously used have fallen off. The hardest part is falling asleep and these do the job. They block 99% of the light but they are so comfortable.

I like how it comes in a two pack, except for the fact that I don't have anyone to give the 2nd pair to because I don't live with anyone. I guess it will serve as a pair for when I need to travel, etc.

I received the hand gripper exerciser to review. It is neat because it has a slick look to it and it feels rather natural in my hand. The tension or force is pretty easy to adjust with just the knob. I enjoy using it and plan on using it a lot more. It will definitely last a long time with it's very sound construction and molding.

Tantino® Classic Aviator Sunglasses Flash Lens

I got these glasses because I want to try a new look. They are really comfortable and they function really well for "cheap" sunglasses. They feel really cheap. They look sharp though, so it is hard to complain. They are polarized and mirrored so they block most of the sunlight. I wish that they came in much better packaging than just an envelope. There was no padding, so I wouldn't surprised if a few ended up crushed by the time they reached their destination.

Premium Watermelon Slicer & Knife Fruit Fastest Cutter

After seeing one of these on TV, I really wanted one. I love watermelon, but I loathe cutting them up. There is no way to keep the juice from running off the cutting board and it goes everywhere. I've bought watermelons and let them go bad because I just dreaded the mess. I was happy to get one of these and give it a try.

The PROS: Juice and mess was much more contained, using the tool was pretty easy.

The CONS: you couldn't flip the tongs over to use as a server, like in thecommercials seen for tool similar to this on TV - the watermelon just squished. Maybe if it was less ripe it would have worked. Also, on the commercials, it shows a nice clean shell afterwards. I'm not sure how they did that. A watermelon cut in half is circular, the tool is rectangular, and when you use it, you don't go in a path around the melon so you won't get the clean results, HOWEVER, once you get the bulk of it out, the tool allows you to easily get the remaining flesh out for immediate snacking.

OVERALL, I would recommend this tool - I'm sure with more practice I will get better, and the lack of mess made it worth it. No more juice all over my counter. I've included pictures of my first try and the results, as well as the second try. As you can see, it takes a little practice, because you need to make sure your second swipe matches up exactly with the first one, or you will have little thin shards of melon still attached to the shell.
